DEATH LOOP
Death loop is one of the critically acclaimed shooter games that Arkane Lyon has produced. Bethesda Softworks publish it. The game is aimed at the player taking out all the eight visionaries (targets) and transversing across the four districts (Karl’s Bay, Update, The Complex, and Fristad Rock).
The player can use different weapons such as grenades, pistols, machine guns, and gold riffles and assume either the character of Colt, who is an assassin stuck in a time loop, or act as an Agent (Julianna) and take out Colt as they protect the time loop. The main aim is to take all the targets out because leaving even one behind will automatically reset the time loop. You also need to watch your back because if you die before taking out all the visionaries, then you will find yourself at the beginning of the loop again.
Although the game has a time loop, the time is unlimited. This gives you adequate time to execute your game plan and take out all eight visionaries in just one lop (a day).
The people’s routines in a particular district vary depending on what time of day the player enters it, and the player’s actions in one district can affect the routines in the others.
Strategies to use to win the game
Once you start the game and get through a couple of missions, get after any of the visionaries that possess one of the game’s slabs that give you special supernatural abilities. Start with a shift slab that allows you to tear your enemies apart and pull out sneaky assassinations. Then get Aether which helps you become invisible, and lastly, nexus, which allows you to link enemies and can take them all out at once
If it’s your first time playing death loop, stay out of the water no matter how shallow it is. Shallow pools of water can still be damaging because you are more likely to freeze and die.
Follow the main leads so you get through the death loops much more quickly. The game has so many unfolded secrets; ensure to be curious but vigilant. You may find a door that needs a combination to open or a trail that can lead you to a powerful weapon, do not be afraid to explore these new paths; they will save you later in the game.
Set proximity & trip mines (hand grenade) Select primary grenades by pressing on the left deep end; if you hold down the deep end button, you get an option to change from primary hand grenade to proximity or trip mine.
Master the Art of the Aerial Execution. If you jump down on any enemy, press R1 before you hit them to perform aerial execution.
In this order, weapons in the death loop have different colors: grey, blue, purple, and gold. Seek out gold weapons because they are more powerful. Grey, blue, and purple guns are found throughout the game. The game ends early with the existence of gold guns. In order to be rewarded with gold guns, some tasks have to be accomplished. You have to trigger this mission out. If you want to use a sniper rifle, you will need to be in a particular district at a particular time of the day, and that will trigger a lead that you need to complete within that district to get the riffle.
